Kara and Sue were fantastic! We just moved and I was completely overwhelmed with the final task of organizing and purging the final boxes in our basement. These two were lovely and exactly the right help I needed. In 4 hours, my home gym was set up, boxes labelled and organized and trash and donations gone. I felt so happy!! The customer service I received from Kathy was outstanding as well. I would recommend these gals to anyone who needs help.

I hired ‘Second Set of Hands’ to help pack up my dad’s condo after his passing. I needed it packed up for the movers quickly, and they were able to come on the same day I called, which was AMAZING!
The way they packed things up was nothing short of professional, and they were very quick as well. Everything fragile was packed in packing paper and bubble wrap, and the artwork was put into special boxes made for framed art.
Without their help, I wouldn’t have had things done on time, and for that I am grateful. It was a difficult time for me and my family, and Kathy and her team took much of the pressure off.
This is a service I didn’t know existed until I needed it, and in the future I’ll hire them again without a doubt.

Kathy is a godsend! I hadn’t been able to process all the stuff I inherited from relatives, let alone deal with my mother moving in and bringing her houseful of things with her. I truly was despairing of ever having a neat, clean and well-organised house again. But Kathy very quickly set things to rights, helping me to get rid of unnecessary clutter and learn that I can hold onto precious memories of family without having to keep all of their material possessions. I was feeling a little over whelmed. I had two houses that I was trying to organize. My parents and the house I presently live in. I had been caring for my Aunt with dementia and had boxes I hadn’t unpacked for years. Every time I looked at them I got depressed. I finally decided to go on line and I saw Kathy’s website. “A second set of hands”, just what I needed. She responded right away by email and then we spoke. I bought a package thinking how can I get this all done in that amount of time? We booked our first appointment ( 3 hours) once again I thought 3 hours how can we get anything done? Well by the end of the first session, I couldn’t believe it. Just having the second person that had no ties to the stuff I was trying to part with was wonderful. There was no pressure. We just started making piles. It worked like magic and the best part was she took it all away to the charity or organization of my choice. I would highly recommend her. She is warm and kind and very good at what she does.

As a busy mom of twins, preparing for a move and downsizing, my house wasn’t always the cleanest. I was nervous about accepting help, but Kathy was so great.
